Welcome

Wunnu, means  "vegetal kingdom" or "plant beings" in the Wayuunaiki language. Wayuunaiki is the native tongue of the Wayuu people of the Guajira Peninsula in Venezuela and Colombia. In the Wayuu cosmovision, plants are the second generation of life created by mma (mother earth) and juya (father rain). Plants are seen as the ancestors, and those who should be respected because of the powers of healing and wisdom they hold.
